The Canadian e-commerce company will amplify the profile of women business leaders at StrikeUP 2022
StrikeUP Canada, a free digital event for women entrepreneurs, announced Shopify is jumping in as a key partner supporting this year’s conference taking place March 3, 2022, as the signature event helps to launch International Women’s Month.

StrikeUP brings together Canada’s diverse women business leaders to work towards advancing women’s economic empowerment and growing the number of women-owned Canadian businesses. The theme of StrikeUP 2022 is ‘Decision Points’—supporting women entrepreneurs through critical milestones in their entrepreneurial journey. StrikeUP 2022 is supported by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) through the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES). The conference is available with French captions and simultaneous sign interpretation and opens with a traditional welcome by Elder Claudette Commanda, an Algonquin Anishinabe from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation.
