StrikeUP 2026 Giveaways and Promotions — Official Rules

The “Sponsor” is: Nventure Business Development Corporation  Venture13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, 739 D’Arcy Street, Suite 120, Cobourg, ON, K9A 0H6 | info@nventure.ca.

These Official Rules govern all StrikeUP 2026 giveaways and promotions described below, including:

  1. Early-Bird Registration Giveaway
  2. Session Poll Giveaways, and
  3. Gamification Prize

By participating, entrants agree to these Rules and to Nventure’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. All times are Eastern Time (ET). Void where prohibited.

Nventure may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, with notice, change the Official Rules from time to time. The most recent version published on the strikeup.ca website is the definitive version.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Canada who are the age of majority in their province or territory, or ages 14–17 with parent or guardian consent. 

Employees, contractors, board members, volunteers, funders or partners of Nventure and StrikeUP (including StrikeUP corporate and co-presenting sponsors) and their household members are not eligible. 

Registration for StrikeUP 2026 is required to participate. 

No purchase necessary.

1) Early-Bird Registration Giveaway

Prize: One (1) CAD $500 Lululemon gift card (delivered by e-gift to the confirmed winner’s email address). Approximate retail value: CAD $500. No cash alternative. Not transferable.

Entry Period: Opens December 1, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends when 500 eligible registrations have been received.

How to Enter: Complete your StrikeUP 2026 registration during the Entry Period. Limit one (1) entry per person. Duplicate or automated entries will be disqualified.

Selection and Odds: Within three (3) business days after the Entry Period ends, Sponsor will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received (maximum odds 1 in 500).

Winner Confirmation: The selected entrant will be contacted by email and must respond within three (3) business days, correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question unaided, and, if requested, complete a declaration and release. If a selected entrant does not comply, an alternate entrant may be selected.

Prize Delivery: The e-gift card will be sent to the confirmed winner within seven (7) business days of confirmation.

2) Session Poll Giveaways (Conference Day)

Overview: During selected sessions streaming on February 26, 2026, registrants will have the opportunity to opt in to a session-specific giveaway via a poll in the platform chat.

Prizes: One or more prizes per designated session. Quantity, description, and approximate retail value will be identified in the session poll or description. Prizes are not transferable and have no cash alternative.

Entry Period: Opens when the poll is launched during the session and closes when the poll ends for that session.

How to Enter: While streaming the session, submit the poll and select the opt-in checkbox to enter that session’s draw. Limit one (1) entry per person per session.

Selection and Odds: For each eligible session, Sponsor will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries on or about March 2–13, 2026. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries for that session.

Winner Announcement: Winners will be contacted by email and may be announced within 2 weeks after the event.

Winner Confirmation and Delivery: Selected entrants must respond within three (3) business days, correctly answer a skill-testing question, and, if requested, complete a declaration and release. Prizes will be delivered electronically or by other reasonable method within seven (7) business days after confirmation.

3) Gamification Prize (Conference Day)

Overview: During the StrikeUP 2026 stream on February 26, 2026, registrants can earn points by discovering hidden codes and actions placed around the platform, presentation videos, and social accounts.

Prize: One (1) prize awarded to the top point earner by the event cutoff time. The prize is a $5,000 CAD-valued marketing package consisting of either a full WordPress developed website or, 3 months of marketing consulting services provided by noLMIT Marketing (the “Vendor”). Full scope, scheduling, and delivery details will be coordinated directly between the confirmed winner and the Vendor. Prize is not transferable and has no cash alternative.

Entry Period: From the start of the event on February 26, 2026 until the posted gamification cutoff time.

How to Enter: Participate in event activities to collect points as described on the gamification page. Use of bots, duplicate accounts, or any attempt to tamper with scoring will result in disqualification.

Selection and Tie-Breakers: The prize is awarded to the registrant with the highest total points at the cutoff. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the registrant who first reached the final top score based on platform timestamps. If still tied, Sponsor will conduct a random draw among tied registrants.

Winner Confirmation and Delivery: The selected entrant must respond within three (3) business days, correctly answer a skill-testing question, and, if requested, complete a declaration and release. Within seven (7) business days of winner confirmation, Sponsor will introduce the winner to the Vendor (or provide the Vendor’s intake link) to begin prize coordination. Service delivery will occur on a mutually agreed timeline between the winner and the Vendor and may require reasonable lead time (e.g., availability, intake forms, content approvals). If the winner does not reasonably cooperate in scheduling within 60 days of the introduction, Sponsor may deem the prize forfeited and no alternate prize will be offered.

Additional Conditions (service prize):

  • Any out-of-scope costs (e.g., paid media budgets, printing, travel) are the winner’s responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for Vendor performance; the Vendor is solely responsible for delivering the marketing package.
  • Geographic or technical limitations may apply. If the Vendor cannot reasonably fulfil the prize for the winner’s location or circumstances, Sponsor may provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value.

Publicity and Privacy

By entering, entrants consent to the use of their personal information for administration of the giveaways. The winner’s first name or initial and province or territory may be announced. Sponsor will not send marketing communications without consent.

General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify entries that are incomplete, ineligible, or generated by automated means, and may cancel or modify any giveaway if fraud or technical issues compromise its integrity. Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, human error, or entries not received for any reason. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. All decisions of Sponsor are final.

Lululemon is not a sponsor of, and does not endorse, these giveaways and promotions. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. If a giveaway is promoted on social platforms, note that it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform.

Governing Law

These giveaways are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
