First Feminist Business Accelerator for Digital Media Enterprises

The CFC Media Lab’s Fifth Wave Initiative is Canada’s first intersectional feminist business accelerator. It offers a suite of programs and services for women-owned/led businesses in southern Ontario’s digital media sector to accelerate and sustain growth. Programming focuses on radically inclusive feminist business practices and weaves feminist ideals of equity and fairness into business sustainability and scalable growth.

“We tailor business growth and success to the needs of women and women entrepreneurs in digital media through two streams; Labs, a four month intensive bootcamp, and Connect, a networking/mentorship community. Fifth Wave works to strengthen the feminist business ecosystem through practices and values that cultivate resilience, equity and fairness in times of economic uncertainty.”
